DAVE WAH'S 2018 BOOKING INFORMATION:
MY BOOKS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED
I feel very fortunate to be in my current situation, with such a high demand for my work. It is extremely flattering and humbling to think so many people would allow me to tattoo them. My waiting list got flooded recently so I will need to hold off on accepting new clients until I complete the majority of projects on the list. If you have emailed me as of February 12th 2018, I will respond soon. Thank you for your patience and I appreciate your interest in getting tattooed by me.
IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ON THE LIST AND HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR AN EXTENDED TIME, please email me and let me know. As the year has gone on I have been trying my best to get everyone in, however sometimes people accidentally get skipped over.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT , you are good to go. You still have your appointment spot.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I GET ON THE LIST?:
About once a year I open the books and accept new projects on the list. Please stay posted for future updates on my scheduling, I usually give an update a few months before opening my books.
HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY TATTOO?:
This is a tough question to answer. Some people get tattooed a month after being added to the list, some people end up waiting well over a year. Sometimes longer. I try my hardest to get everyone tattooed as soon as I can, but with hundreds of people on the list it can take some time. Patience is essential. An extended wait to get your appointment does not correlate with a lack of interest in me doing your tattoo. If you were added to the list it means I am excited to do your tattoo.
ONCE I’M ON THE LIST, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?:
Once your information is on the list, you are on the list. You’re all good. I don’t remove names or information unless someone specifically asks to be removed from the list. I only book out 2 months ahead of time, so every two months I contact the next clients in line to book their appointment. So basically your best bet is to be patient. I do not mind being contacted every once in awhile to check on the status of your potential appointment, however constantly emailing me will not expedite your appointment date.
1. What would you like me to tattoo on you?
2. Where on your body do you want your tattoo? (please specify left or right, inside or outside, when referring to arms, forearms, legs, feet, ribs etc.)
3. What size do you want the tattoo?
4. Do you want color or black and grey?
5. On a scale of 1-10, how dark is your skin (1=pale white, 10=dark black)
6. How old are you, and has your sun had any significant sun damage in the past? (Do you go tanning, work outside in the sun, etc.)
7. Do you have sensitive skin? (Acne, excessively dry skin, loose skin)
8. If you have a budget you are working with, please let me know.
9. Do you have any other tattoos?
10. Where are you from? Are you local to Maryland or are you traveling?
11. How flexible are you with design decisions? (BE HONEST PLEASE)
12. Do you have any circumstances in which you would need an appointment by a certain time? (impending military deployment, limited window of time during visit to Baltimore, etc)
I specialize in tattooing birds, dog portraits, animals (especially big cats), traditional landscapes, illustrated color portraits of celebrities, black and grey portraits from vintage photos, and vintage inanimate objects including automobiles and airplanes. I also tattoo a multitude of other subjects so if your idea isn't listed you can still send me an email to see if it's something I'm capable of doing.
STAY HUMBLE SHOP VIDEO
Motivation comes in many forms. I wanted to share what motivates me. I took a risk and let the world see my thoughts and my feelings, and I think you can appreciate the hard work it took to create this video. Thank you for taking the time to watch this, I know that time is precious.
